How To Defeat Sunken Witch In Remnant 2
Remnant 2’s Sunken Witch bossis essentially a beefed-up version of the Lesser Sunken Witches players will likely have encountered around Losomn up to this point. The main challenge of the fight is avoiding the Witch’s brutal attacks in the cramped, tight space with few places to run besides a few corner nooks.Fortunately, there are several ways to beat The Sunken Witch boss and defend against its primary repeated attacks.
The Sunken Witch Boss Fight Tips And Strategy
Depending on whatRemnant 2archetypesplayers use, it’s best to equip high-damage DPS abilities to help decrease the Witch’s health bar while focusing onavoiding attacks and gaining distance to shoot, reload, andactivate abilities like placing a turretif playing with an Engineer class.
However, players shouldavoid explosive damage or fire modswith AOE effects, as it’s easy to get caught in the crossfire within the corridor. The Sunken Witch is also immune to certain weapon mods like Stasis Beam, so players may need to experiment, and her head is the primary weak spot.

Spinning Swipe And Smash Attack
Although dodge-rolling reduces stamina, it’s best to use this technique to dodge or keep distance from theWitch’s high-damage spinning swipe attackswith a massive hook that ends in a single smash. If players get backed up at the end of a corridor, a carefully timed dodge can give them some breathing room to run the opposite way or gain space within the broken wooden walls.
Running Charge Attack
After the spinning swipe attack, The Sunken Witch tends tocharge-runtoward the player while dragging the hook in a devastating lunging attack, which players should dodge and gain space from before shooting her again from a distance.
Demonic Dogs Phase
After players deplete the first chunk of the Witch’s health, it climbs to the top of the surrounding wooden structure and disappears for a while, letting loose apack of demonic dog or pig-like creatures. These are relatively low-health enemies that players can deal with pretty quickly using a powerful melee weapon, such asRemnant 2’s Atom Smasher.
Ground Pound Attack
After defeating the dogs, players should immediately look up for the whereabouts of the Sunken Witch, who soon jumps back into the fight using adeadly ground pound attack. Continue looking up to keep tabs on the Witch’s location to avoid the incoming blow, hitting or shooting her after she first lands to get a few extra hits in.
