HoYoverse published a new blog post detailing the new “Underground Treasure Hunt” event forHonkai: Star RailVersion 1.2. Starting August 9,Honkai: Star Railplayers may head back to Belobog to investigate mysterious ancient ruins that existed before the Eternal Freeze ravaged Jarilo IV. A new ruin filled with treasure and enemies may be explored every day during The Underground Treasure Hunt event, and each ruin has two exploration modes: Surface Exploration and Deep Exploration. Deep Exploration grants the most rewards, but Surface Exploration must be completed first for each ruin. A total of five unique ruins may be cleared to yield rare rewards such as ancient relics, level-up materials, Stellar Jades, and the “Where’s the Rabbit?” Chat Box.
In order to begin the Underground Treasure Hunt event,Honkai: Star Railplayers must complete the “Jarilo-VI - Silent Galaxy” Trailblaze Mission. An exact Trailblaze Level is not required for entry, but the ruins will likely have level requirements for team comps. Players have until August 29 at 03:59 server time to complete the five ruins and earn all the possible rewards.
The newHonkai: Star Railevent should be helpful to players running low on Stellar Jades, which are needed to exchange for Star Rail Passes and summon fromVersion 1.2’s Event Warps. The event may be useful for testing out team comps and powering up relics for use in end-game content such as Simulated Universe and Forgotten Hall.
Honkai: Star RailVersion 1.3is expected to launch soon after the Underground Treasure Hunt Event ends. The rumored launch date for Version 1.3 is August 30, and HoYoverse will likely share more details about the new update in a Special Program live stream later this month.
Honkai: Star Railis available now for Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation 5 version launches in Q4 2023.
