AnElden Ringbug saw the lesser version of Mohg stand still for several seconds, seemingly waiting to appreciate a part of his score. The music that accompanies Tarnished throughoutElden Ring, particularly during boss fights, has been received incredibly well by the community, even if some do not believe it surpasses the lofty heights achieved by previous Soulsborne titles.

No matter the time and dedication afforded to the creation of bosses, their themes, and mechanics, FromSoftware has a habit of making a few mightily difficult to find.Dark Souls 3was one of the worst offenders in this regard, which hid what is arguably the best battle of the base game behind several convoluted steps.Elden Ringis nowhere near as egregious with the concealment of its boss fights, but Dragonlord Placidusax and Lichdragon Fortissax were missed by many on their first journey through the Lands Between. While Mohg, Lord of Blood is much easier to discover, there isa version of him found at the end of Leyndell’s Sewers, an interconnecting labyrinth that is often missed by Tarnished, or avoided out of frustration. For any hoping to see every possible ending, traversing past dozens of Imps, Revenants, and even Lobsters will be required, as well as defeating the Omen blocking their path to the Three Fingers.

A video posted to Reddit by momnoob sees the player nearing the conclusion of a confrontation with Mohg, the Omen, the weaker iteration of the Lord of Blood that is found after navigating Leyndell’s intricate system for waste disposal. Equipped with the Magma Wyrm Sword, theTarnished competently avoids Mohg’s delayed attacksand approaches as a combo comes to a close. However, after a few attacks it becomes apparent that the Omen has simply stopped moving, something that those who have faced him would know is certainly not part of his moveset.

The weird bug sees Mohg turn to the player, perfectly content with a Curved Greatsword being slashed into his torso. Rather than use the opportunity to snatch victory, the player ceases their offensive and takes a few steps back, enjoying a neutered Mohg. With the post captioned “Wait listen to this part,” the idea that Mohg stopped to revel in the orchestration that performs for him was the crux of many jokes authored in the comments. Given the intensity ofElden Ringboss fights, it is nice to be able toappreciate the excellent theme for Mohgwhile in-game.
