Since the multiplayer forHalo Infinitewas released back in November, numerous players have been checking out the game. One reason for its popularity is the number of exciting game modes it offers for players to compete in. While the title retains many classic game modes from the series, such as Slayer and Oddball, it has also introduced several new ones. Among the new additions is Attrition.

Introduced duringthe Cyber Showdown event, Attrition is a new game mode added toHalo Infinite. It revolves around winning rounds by eliminating enemies players and depleting a set amount of lives given to each team. One unique aspect of the game mode is the new revive ability. Players can run up to glowing orbs signifying where teammates were killed and interact with them to get fallen Spartans back into the action. Recently, one gamer managed to pull off an incredible play while checking out the game mode.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as csant221 shared a highlight from a recent Attrition match inHalo Infinite. In the video, they revealed the effectiveness of the Repulsor equipment against enemy players. The amazing play took place on the Recharge map as the Reddit user started the second round. They began by sprinting towards the Repulsor located nearthe Energy Sword spawn. Upon reaching the location, they quickly grabbed the equipment just before the enemy team arrived to contest the power weapon spawn.

Jumping into action, csant221 used the Repulsor equipment to launch an enemy player across a chasm. Fortunately for the opponent, they landed on the Energy Sword spawn. However, the Reddit user was not finished. After launching the first Spartan, a second enemy jumped down from a ledge above the player, followed by yet another. Without hesitation, csant221 activated his Repulsor again, sending the surprised enemies flying off the edge and into the abyss below. The player then whipped outan MK50 Sidekick pistoland finished off the original Spartan that they had launched to the power weapon platform.

Since csant221 posted this impressive play on Reddit, numerous members of theHalo Infinitecommunity have taken notice. With over 3,100 upvotes in only a couple of days, many were impressed with the effectiveness of the Repulsor. In addition, some players said that they used this same strategy with the Repulsor to launch enemies off edges.

It is exciting to see the types of unbelievable plays gamers can pull off inHalo Infinite. Besides this Repulsor play, another player managed to get around-winning kill with the Skewerin Attrition. As players continue to check out this new game mode, it seems only a matter of time before even more impressive highlights are shared with theHalocommunity.
