It’s likely thatHalo Infinitehas more new weapons and gadgets that have yet to be revealed for the game, as fans were shown very little during the Xbox Games Showcase event. Microsoft showed off eight minutes ofHalo Infinitecampaign footage during the event, revealing some things likeMaster Chief’s grappling hookand the open world environment, but keeping the vast majority of the game a secret.
In fact, arguably the most exciting aspect ofHalo Infiniteis still shrouded in mystery. Fans have no idea what to expect fromHalo Infinite’s multiplayer so far, with the only details being that it will be available with the game at launch. There are some rumors thatHalo Infinite’s multiplayer may be free-to-play, but they are unsubstantiated at the time of this writing. With the Xbox Games Showcase event focusing onHalo Infinitecampaign gameplay, one has to imagine that Microsoft will want to unveil its multiplayer next, but that’s just speculation at this time.
Rumors are thatXboxplans on hosting another games showcase event at some point in August, so maybe fans will learn Infiniteand its new weapons then.
Halo Infinitelaunches later this year for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
