Nearly a decade after launchingGrand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar Games finally confirmed thatGrand Theft Auto 6is in active development. Unfortunately, all fans know aboutGrand Theft Auto 6is in that it is indeed in the works, with Rockstar revealing practically nothing else about the game. While fans wait for more news onGrand Theft Auto 6, some have taken to creating their own maps for the game.
Grand Theft Auto 6is rumored to be set in Vice City, which itself is based on Miami, Florida. With that in mind, Reddit user StikyLizardStudiosYT created a map concept based on Florida. TheGrand Theft Auto 6map concept created by StikyLizardStudiosYT combines elements of major Florida cities like Miami, Tampa, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Jacksonville, with important Florida landmarks like Disneyland, NASA, and the Daytona International Speedway all represented. TheGTA 6map created by StikyLizardStudiosYT would feature a variety of biomes, with the primary ones being grassland, forest, swamp, farmland, and metropolitan areas.

StikyLizardStudiosYT compared their concept for aGrand Theft Auto 6map with theGrand Theft Auto 5mapas it exists today. It seems like StikyLizardStudiosYT’sGTA 6map would be much bigger than the map fromGrand Theft Auto 5, itself already quite massive. It will be interesting to see what theGrand Theft Auto 6map ultimately looks like, but unfortunately fans will likely be waiting quite some time before they get to see it for themselves. TheGrand Theft Auto 6release dateis believed to still be years away at this point, and so it seems unlikely that fans will get to see the map at any point in the near future. There hasn’t even been aGTA 6trailer released yet, and one has to imagine that the map reveal wouldn’t come until some point after the trailer.
There have been rumors that aGrand Theft Auto 6reveal may happen sooner than expected, but fans shouldn’t hold their breath. With Rockstar Games just recently confirmingGrand Theft Auto 6’s existence and recentlyre-releasingGrand Theft Auto 5for new consoles, the marketing push forGTA 6is still likely a ways off.
