Grand Theft Auto 5will be taking advantage of thePS5’s DualSense controllerand its unique features, like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Rockstar Games has confirmed that the PS5 version ofGrand Theft Auto 5will use the DualSense controller to help players feel “changes in road surface texture” among other things, like weather effects, directional damage, explosions, and more. And while DualSense support may not be a big deal to everyone, it’s still something that fans can only get from playing the PS5 version of the game.
And finally, it’s worth pointing out that PS5 gamers can actually getGrand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer component forGTA 5, completely free of charge. Starting March 15 and for a period of three months,those on PS5 can claimGTA Onlinefree for their digital libraries. A PS Plus subscription isn’t required to claim the game, but one is necessary to actually play it, so fans should keep that in mind.
With theGrand Theft Auto 5PS5 release dateright around the corner, it will be interesting to see if this new version of the game is able to bring back lapsed players and keep fans satisfied while they wait onGTA 6news.
