It comes with two main options - Favor Resolution or Favor Performance, that function differently with High Frame Rate on or off. With it off, players can choose between 30 FPS gameplay at 4K, and a supposedly locked 60 FPS experience. With High Frame Rate turned on,God of War Ragnarokruns at 40 FPS in resolution mode and targets an impressive 120 FPS in performance mode.

Press Start Australia mentions that gamers will need anHDMI 2.1 compatible TV or monitorto playGod of War Ragnarokat a targeted 120 FPS. Still, it’s an impressive technical achievement by developer Santa Monica Studio given the game’s overall visual quality.

Fans should note thatGod of War Ragnaroktakes up a massive amount of storage space. The PS5 version needs 84 GB of space, as compared to 106.9 GB for its PS4 counterpart. The EU versions ofGod of War Ragnaroktake up even more storage, so some players may have to delete data to make room for Kratos’ newest adventure.

Santa Monica Studio has confirmed thatGod of War Ragnarokmarks the end of the Norse saga, so fans can probably expect it to be packed with content. However, a recent report revealed thatRagnarokwill take around 40 hours to complete in total, with the story being 20 hours long. Judging by these numbers, the main plot appears to be as long as 2018’sGod of War.
