Genshin Impact’s new “Yummy! Barbecue Under the Stars” is a cute web event side-story wrapping upthe recent Labyrinth Warriors plotline. Tartaglia, Xinyan, Shiki Taishou, and Paimon take a breather from the perils of the Mystic Onmyou Chamber to celebrate fish and friendship, challenging Travelers to complete a recipe book for Primogems and prizes. The gameplay is a bit less direct than what fans normally see fromGenshin Impact– this guide will cover the various grilling techniques and dishes required to receive the maximum rewards.
To access Yummy! Barbeque Under the Stars, players should select it from the “Special Event” icon on the main menu (it does not show up in “Events Overview”). Those playing on PS4 and PS5 platforms can use their smart phone or tablet cameras to hover over the QR code and open the page on their mobile device’s Internet browser.

Grilled Fish
There are six different possible states of “doneness” to grilled fish.Raw fishis self-explanatory – it hasn’t changed color at all and was only briefly on the grill.Undercookedfish will be slightly darker with puffs of white steam.Fully Grilledfish emit little golden squares and are noticeably darker than raw fish.Crispyfish have an Undercooked or Fully Grilled side face-up with black smoke indicating imminent disaster on the other.
Recipes that call for Crispy fish must be marked complete pretty quickly after the smoke appears without flipping the fish, otherwise a charred grayBurntfish is the resulting dish. The Grilled Fish that Broke Through Dimensions recipe is the only one that uses a fish Burnt to the point where aholeshows through it.
Obtaining Materials
The materials involved in Yummy Barbeque includeFish,Seasoning, andFirewood.Bitter Pufferfish,Medaka, orGolden Bassare the seafood options.Four fish are caught by Tartagliaevery 6 hours, and players choose which type of fish they’d like to grill. There are no set numbers of particular fish and most dishes allow any fish selection with the exception of those that specifically call for perfectly cooked, moderately spiced versions of each unique Fish.
Seasoningis acquired through a series of daily and cumulative tasks:
This comes to a total of 4 potential Seasonings acquired daily and a single 12 Seasoning bonus. Recipes will call for 1 of 3 degrees of Seasoning:Mild,Just Right, orHeavy. “Just Right” is also referred to as “Moderate” in recipe descriptions. The order in which the fish is grilled and the Seasoning is applied doesn’t matter.
Firewood is given for each daily log in, 4 pieces total.
