Yoimiya is one of the unluckiest characters inGenshin Impactso far. Not only does she suffer with her kit, but Yoimiya is also hurt by her banners' timing. The first banner was right before Raiden Shogun, the highly anticipated Electro Archon, while her rerun banner is behind the entire Dendro nation that will introduce a new Element toGenshin Impact.
With all that said, Yoimiya’s fans will always be excited about her rerun banners, but for those who are wondering if Yoimiya is worth it or not, here are a few things players need to know.

Is It Worth Pulling For Yoimiya In Genshin Impact?
Sadly, if players are looking for the bestGenshin ImpactDPS, pulling on Yoimiya’s banner is not worth it since she suffers from many limitations. Yoimiya also has various issues like aiming and the ability to trigger Elemental Reactions. She lacks behind otherGenshin ImpactPyro charactersand can be replaced easily.
On the other hand, though, Yoimiya is easy to build, and many Artifacts and weapons can fit her playstyle just fine. For players that want her and like her, she’s not bad by all means; it’s just that there are better options.

Yoimiya Is Hard To Master
All of Yoimiya’s damage is embedded in her Elemental Skill, and that gives people the idea that she’s easy to use since all players need to do is pew pew her way out of danger. But, in fact, her kit adds a layer of complexity and forces players that want to use Yoimiya to learn her pattern with other Supports to understand their rotations. Yoimiya will also lose a decent amount of DPS if she’s interrupted in the middle of her combo, so interruption protection is crucial for Yoimiya.
In addition,as a Bow user inGenshin Impact, Yoimiya’s Normal attacks will most probably miss moving targets, which will waste the very precious seconds of her Elemental Skill. All that makes Yoimiya hard to master.

Yoimiya’s Constellation Are Good
Of course, being limited asa 5-star character inGenshin Impactonly means one thing, Yoimiya’s potential are hidden in her Constellations. Her C1 and C2 increase her damage if the conditions are met, while her C4 reduces her Elemental Skill cooldown and gives her the ability to take more field time, which is exactly what Yoimiya needs. As for her C6, it takes Yoimiya’s damage to another level and increases her ability to trigger Elemental Reactions.
Yoimiya’s DPS Is Overshadowed By Other Pyro Characters
Unfortunately, most characters can perform the same, if not better, inYoimiya’s team compositions inGenshin Impact. Some characters are even free units like Xiangling. She can easily trigger Melt and Vaporize while inflicting crazy AoE damage without even being on the field.
Players can pair Yoimiya with Xingqiu, which is a decent combo. But Xingqiu is already in high demand since he makes all his pairs shine and even has better combos with other Pyro characters like Hu Tao.
