Yelan is a name that has appeared in multipleGenshin Impactleaks which means that there is a chance for her to arrive in the following updates. Multiple beta leaks for update 2.6 have revealed her in-game model, but she will most likely not be added to the playable roster for that update since there are no information about her abilities. A popular leaker named Ubatcha1 has revealed more information including a possible release in update 2.7 around mid-May. When it comes to her combat capabilities, she is expected to be a new Hydro bow user which would make her the second character that uses this element-weapon combination. Yelan will most likely be a five-star character that will arrive alongsideaGenshin Impactdouble banner re-run.
She will apparently not be the only Hydro character to arrive in the upcoming updates as many leaks are already predicting the arrival of the head of the Kamisato clan, Ayato. The fact that Ayato is a Hydro character means that he could have great synergy with his sister Ayaka who has a unique play style. Multiple leaks have already confirmed that Ayato’s ascension stats are Crit damage which means that he will most likely be astrongGenshin ImpactDPS character. The video shows that his Elemental Burst periodically deals Hydro damage in a large area which means that he could also have strong sub-DPS capabilities.
The majority of the community already claims that Ayato’s design already exceeded all expectations even though his final damage numbers are not even released yet. Multiple in-game NPCs have already stated that Ayato is a skilled sword and polearm user, however, it seems like miHoYo decided to equip him with a sword.PreviousGenshin Impactleakshave revealed that his Elemental skill is named Shuumatsu Art, and it allows Ayato to dash sideways while casting forward an empty shell of himself that taunts enemies.
