Genshin ImpactContent Creators (CC) are receiving a Mimo’s gift as a token of appreciation for their content making. A while ago, manyGenshin ImpactCCs were surprised with an email from Mimo, saying that they have the chance to get free merchandise for their contribution to the community. Initially, most thought that the message was suspicious, but it was soon confirmed to be official by the miHoYo Staff.
Mimo is the mascot of the HoYoLAB, the official forum for miHoYo games that covers titles likeGenshin Impact,Honkai Impact 3rd,Tears of Themis,and the in-developmentHonkai: Star Rail. There, fans have the chance to interact with fellow gamers or simply share their daily experience. TheHoYoLAB is also filled with toolsthat gamers can use to assist them in their playtime.

As Mimo is the mascot for the forum, the gift is also dispatched to Content Creators of other games, so this isn’t exclusive forGenshin ImpactCC only. Unfortunately, the distribution of this present appears to be luck-based, as many people have reported not getting their Mimo email despite being an active and acknowledged CC (HoYoLAB offers Content Creator verification for those who consistently create relevant content).
Those who beat the RNG, however, will soon find their Mimo’s Gift at their door. As they open the box, the first thing people see will be a “Thank You” letter, with a signaturefrom the CEO of miHoYoDa Weiunderneath.
Because the present is sent in a box, many choose to call it the “Mimo Box”. The gift has two layers, where the bottom compartment can be pulled out to reveal more merchandise. Meanwhile, the top part consists of six small boxes – divided into three games;Genshin Impact,Honkai Impact 3rd, andTears of Themis. Each of these items is completely random, but theTears of Themismerchandise appears to always come in one character.
The gifts vary from keychains, acrylic standees, pins, badges, and so on. One thing every box has in common, though, is the Lumi postcard from N0va Desktop, which can be found on the bottom compartment.
Of course, everyone is excited about their Mimo’s gift. Many have expressed gratitude for being appreciated by the company, and the thrills only became greater when they learned the present can be shared publicly. It’s always nice to see a developer that cares about its Content Creators. WhileGenshin Impactstill has a long way to go, this gesture surelybrings faith that miHoYo is going in the right direction.
