PlayStationTrophies usually fall into a few categories. They are either easy, story-related tasks that happen naturally, difficult tasks for completing everything or doing a specific challenge, or random and funny objectives. WhileOctober 2022’s gamesprovided a bit of everything, those with a fondness for sillier, unique tasks should be particularly happy with the Trophies on offer.
PlayStationPlus’ essential games are always worth a look for Trophy hunters, as they can provide more lists to work on with varying levels of difficulty. Similarly, the big releases for October each come with a Trophy list attached, and one in particular features a particularly strange achievement that takes little effort to complete but is sure to provide a big laugh.

Funniest Trophy Objectives From October 2022’s Games
Not only isSuperhot’s “Hercules” Trophy one of the more difficult Trophy objectives in October’s PS Plus games, but the game boasts several goofy objectives too. “No They Didn’t” unlocks by shooting down a bullet with another bullet, and the Trophy’s fourth-wall-breaking title makes it one worth highlighting. “It’s a me, Mario” is another goodie, with players unlocking the Trophy after killing an enemy by hopping on their head - a fun nod toNintendo’s legendary plumber. There is even a “Pumpkin Spiced SUPERHOT” objective for playing a challenge around Halloween Season, perfectly displaying the humor of the developers behind the game.
As for the other two games that came as part of October’s Essential PS Plus offering,Hot Wheels Unleashed’s only silly Trophy comments on the act of getting 25,000 gears, as it reads “What Do I Do With So Many?”Injustice 2has a handful of comedic Trophies to hunt for, though. “Killer Croc” references the DC villain of the same name and unlocks when players use a crocodile prop to win a fight in a Slaughter Swamp map. Grodd’s “Going Ape” is a fun nod to him being a Gorilla, and “This is Why I Can’t Have Nice Things” is unlocked after ruining everything in the Batcave. However, the silliest Trophy of all subtly referencesteabagging, as dodging 10 times triggers the unlock of “Would You Like Some Crumpets With That?” With crumpets often being paired with tea, this is a clever nod to a longrunning tradition in games.

Funniest Trophies in October 2022’s New Releases
As for October 2022’s big games,New Tales from the Borderlandsis filled with humorous Trophies. The one-two punch of “You Rich Now” and “You Poor Now” for acquiring and losing the Sink or Swim money is a good gag. “Totally Intentional” unlocks when failing a QTE, and the “Epic Fail” image attached to it is an excellent touch. “Not dolls. Action figures!” is a reference to the classic defense of the toy type, and is unlocked for getting all theVaultlanders. Lastly, there is “Bring Back The Butt!,” which requires players to summon the Sexy Intern during the JRPG sequence, one of the more memorable moments in the game.
However, whileNew Tales from the Borderlandstakes the cake for the highest number of silly Trophies to collect in October’s games,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s campaignoffers the goofiest single Trophy by far. If players shoot a porta-potty with an enemy inside before they have a chance to emerge - something that requires existing knowledge of the spawn point - they will earn “A Crappy Way to Die.” Having a poop joke in a serious military FPS likeCall of Dutyis certainly unexpected, but its inclusion on the Trophy list will surely get a laugh out ofPlayStationfans.
