To celebrate the release ofSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,Fortniteis once again collaborating with Marvel and hosting a new Spider-Man crossover event. It started out with the addition of Spider-Gwen as a new NPC on the battle royale map, and then the Web Battles event took place. The crossover is now in full motion; the Spider-verse has even completely taken over all Week 11 quests.

The notorious Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters are now back inFortnite; they’ve been redesigned and renamed Spider-Verse Web-Shooters, but they work the same. This item isn’t only useful for in-game mobility purposes, players will also need to find it in order to complete many of the Week 11 quests.
How to Get the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters
The Spider-Verse Web-Shooters are back inFortnite, and they will certainly be a crucial mobility item from now on; especially since, with this addition, Epic Games had to reduce ODM Gear spawns.
There are only two ways to acquire the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters inFortnite.Players can either find them as floor loot, or they cantalk to Spider-Gwen at Slappy Shoresand purchase them for 600 gold bars. The Web-Shooters are definitely expensive, but players that have saved up their gold throughout the season shouldn’t have too many problems acquiring this item.
How to Use the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters
To swing from place to place, players have to first equip the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters, and then point them in the direction that they would like to go. If a white circle appears on a surface, it means that the Web-Shooters will cling to it and allow the user to swing.
Just like theODM Gear, players can only shoot the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters a certain amount of items before their energy depletes and they become unusable. In total,the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters can be used a maximum of 80 times.
This item also has a cooldown, which means that once players stop continuously swinging, a cooldown period will initiate, stopping them from doing so for a few seconds.
If players use one charge, they will have to wait four seconds to use the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters again. If they swing twice, they won’t be able to use it for another eight seconds. If they use it three times in a row, the cooldown will last for 12 seconds. Once players reach four swings, their cooldown will always be 16 seconds long, regardless of how many times the players swung continuously after that.
