As the season neared its end, more teasers were released, and eventually, Epic Games unveiled thatFortnitewas going back in time and returning to Chapter 1 Season 5, as many fans already suspected.

To really give players the feeling they had playingFortniteback then, Epic Games is changing tons of UI features to what they once were, including the look of the lobby and Item Shop.Epic revealed in a recent blog postthat the Item Shop will be called the OG Shop during the current season, and it will feature remixed versions of classic skins. However, fans were surprised to learn that these cosmetics will only be available for a limited time.
According to the blog post, some of theFortnitecosmetics featured in the OG Shop won’t return to the Item Shop, so it’s likely that these are exclusive to gamers who purchase them during the OG Season. This means that if players spot an item that they enjoy, they might want to get it before it’s gone for good.
Epic Games mentioned that theFortniteOG Passwill be available until May 30, 2025, at 10 PM ET. Since this is a shorter season, it’s likely that this is the end date of the OG Season.
