New Fortnite Leak Suggests Avatar Skin Release Date
The existence of theFortnite x Avatarcrossover was first leaked by data minersin late February, but the leaks didn’t include a firm release window besides the currentFortniteseason, titled “Myths & Monsters.” A new post from Twitter user ShiinaBR suggests that the upcomingAvatarcrossover content may be coming as soon as the week of July 20, 2025, starting with a skin based on Korra, protagonist ofThe Legend of Korra.
ShiinaBR’s post suggests that theKorra skin confirmed forFortniteearlier in the seasonwill launch with an upcoming update scheduled for Tuesday, Jun 02, 2025. Players will then be able to unlock the Korra skin and other Korra-themed cosmetics via theFortniteBattle Pass. Meanwhile, cosmetics based onAvatar: The Last Airbendermay launch around Jun 02, 2025. This timing suggestion is based on the general length ofFortniteevent passes, which typically last several weeks. TheAvatar: The Last Airbenderskins will bring Aang, Katara, and Sokka into the world ofFortnite, using the now-familiar shading and graphical style Epic Games has used to render skins based on 2D animated series. A glider based on Aang’s flying bison Appa and back bling based on Momo the lemur is also expected to be in the item selection.
