To farm Copper,mine veins, build extractors over Copper deposits, or tear apart junk items. The first two methods, mining and extracting, deliver Cu Ore, which must be smelted into scrap on a Chemistry Workbench. But the thirdfarming technique, scrapping, gives useable Copper pieces.
1. Mine Copper Veins
A Copper vein is a mineral resource on a rocky outcropping, cave, or mine. To farm Copper, locate these veins and mine them on a regular basis. The best locations for Copper vein extraction are Solomon’s Pond, the outcrops near The Whitespring Station and Bunker, and the rocky areas near Abandoned Mine Shaft 2.

2. Extract Copper from Items

3. Build a Copper CAMP on a Deposit
The best way to farm Copper inFallout 76is by placing a resource extractor on top of a Copper deposit in a workshop. Dabney Homestead is the ideal location for that because it supports up to 3 extractors, each producing 20 Copper Ore per hour.

Copper extractors have a maximum capacity of 10 Ores per unit, meaning they must be emptied every 30 minutes. Otherwise, they won’t fulfill the 20-Ore-per-hour goal.
