Even as the year begins winding down,Elden Ring’s influence over the gaming atmosphere is as strong as ever. It may have slowed down slightly as a single-player game, as this is quite common, but many fans are just waiting in the wings forFromSoftware to announceElden RingDLC. Other fans are getting creative with builds, designing fan arts, and so on.
Next year,Elden Ringis getting a tabletop game adaptation. It’ll be interesting to see how all of this FromSoftware lore and everything converts to the tabletop world, but it seems one fan couldn’t wait for that. Redditor mwolf805 recently shared someElden Ringminiatures that they had made and painted.

In bringingElden Ringto their tabletop world, mwolf805 made a miniature for a Fingercreeper, an NPC who looks a lot like Corhyn, and Radagon of the Golden Order. They’re all pretty good examples of the game to bring to life, with the Fingercreeper quickly becoming an iconic enemy for the game. The way they emerge out of the ground and attack, especially in some of Elden Ring’s eeriest locations, is great. It seems the Redditor’s wife also thought the Fingercreeper was creepy, and mwolf805 has set out to make a bigger one, pretty similar to what happens in the game when encountering these creatures. The way this miniature captures little details like the fingernails, as well as the golden ring on the one finger, is quite impressive.
Radagonis also another good pick. While the miniature looks buffer than Radagon in-game (since his body is essentially decaying), it captures the aesthetic and general appearance of the boss quite well. Miniature design and painting are no doubt hard skills to master, but it would not be surprising to see these miniatures appear inElden Ring’s upcoming tabletop RPG proper. It’s at least a good way to prepare for that experience and pass the time while waiting for moreElden Ring.
Indeed, while the community shares its love for the game in a number of ways, one common element is the desire for more. FromSoftware is believed to be working onElden RingDLC, as many major games from its catalog received post-launch expansions as well, and generally speaking,bosses are much harder in FromSoftware DLC. For those looking for more lore, more worldbuilding, and more punishment, a DLC would be just the thing they need, however long it takes to get here. It should be before the tabletop game releases, at least.
