The recently releasedDying Light 2has been panned by critics for its lackluster story, but the game seems to have made up for it with its incredibly satisfying gameplay. The originalDying Lightwas known for having a great parkour system thatDying Light 2has improved upon making traversal in the game even better than before.
One means of getting around the city that may have been cut from the game at the last minute was the ability to ride a bicycle. A fan of the game discovered the vehicle by using a developer menu that they downloaded from NexusMods. The developer menu allowed the player to spawn a fully ridable bicycle into the game. The bicycle seems to move relatively smoothly around the world, albeit at an incredibly slow pace.

It is unclear right now if Techland decided to remove the bicycle from the game.Dying Light 2 wasonly released on Friday, and therefore there are still many Easter eggs to uncover in the world, meaning that it is still possible there is a bicycle somewhere in the world that players can find. As of right now though, it seems the only way to spawn the bicycle in is with a developer menu.
One of theDying Light 2Easter eggs referencesResident Evil. In a quest, the protagonist is tasked by an NPC named Leon to find his friend Chris. When the player finds Chris, he has become infected. Once the player kills him and recovers his dog tags, they find out that his name is Chris Redfield, a character from theResident Evilseries.
Dying Light 2also makes reference toDead Island, which was the first zombie game that Techland worked on. Players can find a record player inDying Light 2in the prologue called “Who Do You Voodoo?” which is a reference to the opening ofDead Island.
Players seem to be enjoying the game more than its predecessor, asDying Light 2’s peak player count dwarfed that of the originalDying Light.
While many players have been enjoying the game, thereseems to be an issue withDying Light 2’s zombie ragdoll physics. Techland has acknowledged the issue, and has stated that a fix will be on the way soon.
Dying Light 2is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
