YouTubestreamer Dr. Disrespect is the latest party to throw a punch amid an ongoing streamer feud. This comes shortly afterHasanabi criticized him for boycottingCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Known for his uppity, stereotypical gamer persona that he tries his hardest not to break, Dr Disrespect (A.K.A. Herschel Beahm the fourth) is a prominentYouTubestreamer, following an ongoing suspension from Twitch. He has been no stranger to controversy throughout his online career, the latest of which being when he uninstalledCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This occurred after Activision decided not to release its NICKMERCS collab skin, following the streamer’s comments on a Pride Month school board protest that some construed as anti-LGBTQ+.

Following Hasan’s lighthearted mockery of him for his actions, Dr Disrespect responded by jokingly referring to the leftist gamer as a “fat phony,” criticizing him for weighing in on drama that has nothing to do with him. The “phony” insult is likely a nod to Hasan’s controversial life choice,in which he purchased a $2.7 million homedespite frequently advocating for redistribution of wealth. He went on to state that everyone should just stick to what matters to or concerns them, and stay out of other people’s feuds. Dr Disrespect has been no stranger to getting more serious on stream in response to a critique, but this time around it seems to be nowhere near as personal as when his mother was insulted.
Dr Disrespect went on to repeat his insult more than once, before mockingly telling his viewers that Hasan would be too chicken to say what he said had the two been in the same room. It wouldn’t be the first timeDr Disrespect has been jokingly set up for a fight with his fellow streamer, but this time he appeared a bit more serious. A public fight involving him would certainly be interesting, given his insane height and background in school sports, but there are currently no signs of that happening any time soon.
Originally kicked offby NICKMERCS' original comments, this drama has been taking place for over a week straight. There’s no telling when things will finally come to an end, who else on the internet will get themselves involved next, or even who out of the already-involved parties will deal the next blow. Still, for those who love their share of internet drama, this is probably a content creator feud that is more than worth sticking to.
