Thankfully, it should be released soon, so players won’t have to wait long before she becomes an inhabitant of the valley.Disney Dreamlight Valleyentered its early access stage in September 2022, allowing gamers to start playing it before its full release. Since then, various major updates have rolled out and added a significant amount of content to the game, and more are still in the works and will become available in the next couple of months.
According to themid-2023Disney Dreamlight Valleyroadmap, the Summer update is coming very soon. The actual release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but it has to come out before September’s Belle update. Since the last time, fans got an update was in early June, Update 6 should be available either in July or early August. Many players are particularly excited about the release of the Summer update because Vanellope von Schweetz, not only a princess but also a kart-racer, will be joining the other characters in the valley.

There is considerable anticipation for this addition; gamers have even started makingWreck-It Ralph-themed furniture and decorating their homes accordingly before Vanellope comes to visit. The last game update upgraded the Touch of Magic tool, and now it’s not only useful for creating beautiful outfits; players can alsocustomize furniture inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Reddit user cozywjas has created a furniture set completely inspired by Vanellope’sSugar Rusharcade game, and the results are quite impressive.
The furniture set includes various types of furniture: a wardrobe, a lamp, a desk, an armchair, a bed, and a rug. The color palette is quite bright and vivid, which fitsSugar Rushjust perfectly. What stands out the most, besides the carefully made pixel hearts, are thevarious My Hero Cookie motifson several furniture items. This cookie is a placeholder medal that’s crucial in a heartwarming scene in theWreck-It Ralphmovie.
There is quite a lot to look forward to in the upcoming weeks. Besides Vanellope joining the roster of characters that inhabit Valley, something else is coming to the game in this update. When the Summer update comes out, a feature called DreamSnaps will also be included, and it will allow players toreceive free weekly Moonstones inDisney Dreamlight Valleyby voting or participating in in-game photography competitions.
