Summary
Xur has returned again toDestiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. Last week, Crota made his long awaited return intoDestiny 2as Bungie brought back the Crota’s End raid with a couple updated mechanics. However, much of it will seem familiar to longtime players, especially theexotic weapon Necrochasm.
As many fans know, theCrucible got a slight update inside of Season of the Witch, including adding a brand new Vex inspired map called Multiplex. However, the map arrived with an odd bug that allows players to utilize their sparrow vehicles to zoom around the map, something which typically isn’t available. The accidental change of pace has been a positive one for players who enjoy the added element of chaos, so Bungie decided that it plans to leave the bug in a little longer than originally planned.

In the meantime, Xur is making another appearance insideDestiny 2. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he’s brought for the weekend of June 22, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Over the next few days,Destiny 2players will want to head to Nessus and look for the Watcher’s Grave tree.
From the Director, head to Nessus and load into Watcher’s Grave. Run towards the back of the zone where a massive tree is found. Jump up until players find the huge branch where the merchant is hanging out.

Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Crown of Tempests - Warlock helmet
Exotic Perk:
Conduction Tines - Arc ability or jolt final blows increase the recharge rate of your Arc abilities and extend the duration of Stormtrance.
Just on sale about a month ago, the arc focused Crown of Tempests is back on sale this weekend and remains a great choice for Stormtrance users. In fact, the roll this week is slightly better than the previous version, so this is a definite pickup.

Gemini Jester - Hunter leg armor
Misdirection - Dodging disorients nearby enemies and temporarily removes their radar.

A more fun than useful exotic this week, Gemini Jesters aren’t likely at the top of anyone’s must have exotics list these days. However, for those who like to cause a bit of chaos in the Crucible, Misdirection has a large area of effect. While the roll is pretty solid, these can be safely skipped.
Helm of Saint-14 - Titan helmet

Starless Night - Targets that enter Ward of Dawn are blinded, while allies that pass through gain a Void overshield. Guarding with Sentinel Shield blinds nearby targets.
A solid exotic this week with a great set of stats. It’s not the top exotic for Titans, but it certainly has its uses, so it may be worth a look this week.

Stat Values (68 total):
Exotic Weapon
The Crimson Hand Cannon is once again back in stock, and it is still worth picking up. Banned Weapon gives the gun a three round burst while it’s unique perk, Cruel Remedy, heals the player after killing an enemy while a precision kill also refills the magazine.
It works wonders in activities with lots of enemies to target and can even be a lifesaver in Crucible game modes as well. Not only that, the weapon only gets better with the catalyst equipped, so spend the shards on it this week!
Weapon perks:
Hawkmoon Rolls
For now,Xur is only selling Hawkmoon with randomized rolls, but its time is limited once Harbinger is ultimately added to the Exotic Mission Rotator and makes the hand cannon craftable. Either way, here is the roll Xur has this weekend:
