Xur has returned again toDestiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. It was a bitter sweet week for the Destiny 2 community, asgame director Joe Blackburn announced his departure from Bungielater this month. While Blackburn has admitted that The Final Shape is one of his proudest achievements so far, many in the community are noticeably worried aboutDestiny 2’s future after losing a prominent member of the development team that has been involved n many of the game’s most popular activities.
On the other hand, this week brought some new content intoDestiny 2including the 2024 edition of Moments of Triumph, where players can complete 33 challenges centered around the previous year of activities. In addition to new rewards and collectibles, players who complete 26 of the 33 can also score a new title and seal. The new Mara Sovweekly quests called Riven’s Wishes also launched inDestiny 2, giving players their first chance to earn a Wish Token to spend on Last Wish weapons, Lightfall exotics, and other rare or end game level materials.

Where is Xur?
Head to the Tower Hangar to find Xur over the next couple of days.
Simply fast travel to the main Tower waypoint and once loaded in, head to the left and follow the path to the hangar area. Head to the left side and approach the back where the catwalks and platforms overlooking the snowy mountains are as Xur should also be standing there waiting.
Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.
Felwinter’s Helm - Warlock helmet
Exotic Perk:
Back again after being featured a few weeks ago, Felwinter’s Helm again has the misfortune of being the lowest rolled stat item this week among the three. As such, its an easy item to pass on.
Raiden Flux - Hunter chest armor
While a solid roll, it unfortunately has a lot of peaks and valleys, with Recovery and Discipline being extremely low while Resilience comes in at a massive 25. Either way, it really only impacts Arc Staff users, so there’s limited value in the item, but worth nabbing for Arcstriders.
Hallowfire Heart - Titan Chest Armor
Another item that was just on sale a few weeks ago, not much has changed about this exotic, especially with the roll which continues to be high. For that reason alone, this one is worth picking up this week.

Exotic Weapon
A former beastly weapon in terms of raw damage, which caused the community branded “Laser Tag” weekend a few years ago, the Prometheus Lens is certainly not the overpowered weapon it once was. While it can still be fun to use, Trace Rifles aren’t a common pick as much these days, especially when there are other top tier exotic weapons most people gravitate towards during Season of the Wish.
Prismatic Inferno allows the weapon’s solar beam to grow a heat field as it hits a target, with sustained damage applying scorch to the enemy. This combines with Flame Refraction, which returns a fraction of ammo from reserves after a kill, extending the solar beams duration.

Hawkmoon Rolls
At this point,Xur is only selling Hawkmoon with randomized rolls, but its time is limited once Harbinger is ultimately added to the Exotic Mission Rotator and makes the hand cannon craftable. Either way, here is the roll Xur has this weekend:
