It’s been a month since the Season of Arrivals began inDestiny 2, bringing a fresh story arc to Bungie’s looter shooter. In addition to the next chapter inDestiny 2’s plot, the 11th season also came with new Strikes, Dungeons, and Exotic weaponry.
One of the strangest of these new weapons is theRuinous Effigy, an Exotic Trace Rifle. The Ruinous Effigy has a few unique features, including the ability to turn defeated enemies into Void Orbs. To unlock the weapon players will have to complete the Growth quest-line. There’s one part that’s particularly difficult, however, the requirement to make 25 Precision Multikills.

A Precise Slaughter
InDestiny 2,Precision damage refers to any attack that strikes an enemy’s weak spot. This can be anywhere depending on the type of enemy, and is indicated by yellow damage numbers. Downing an enemy with Precision damage counts asa Precision Kill, and if a second enemy is also downed with Precision damage within 1-2 seconds then that’s a Precision Multikill.
The difficultly of carrying out a Precision Multikill varies wildly depending on which kind of enemy is being fought. The fact that another part of theGrowth quest-linerequires players to compete in PvP modes has led many to believe that the Precision Multikills will only be counted in those matches, but this isn’t actually true. Even Multikills made in Lost Sectors and Escalation Protocol will count for the quest, and they’re much easier to make.
Where to go
One of the best Lost Sectors forfarming Precision Multikillsis Kingship Docks. The Scorn can always be found there in large numbers, making it easy to efficiently score Multikills. Another advantage of Kingship Docks is that it’s private, meaning there won’t be any competition for head-shots.
Although Kingship Docks is probably the best, there are several other Lost Sectors that are good for farming Precision Multikills. One is the Ma’adim Subterrrane, a cave network on Mars where swarms of Red Legion make for easy grinding. Finally, the Core Terminus on Mars or the Altar of Sorrow on the Moon are also good places to farm. With the right weapon, preferably something precise and punchy, any player can make their25 Precision Multikillsin these locations without too much difficulty.
Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
