Destiny 2 Prismatic Subclass Transcendence Details

In addition to revealing details for each ofDestiny 2’s Prismatic subclasses, the blog post also went into greater detail regarding the new Transcendence mechanic that this class will have access to. As players learned, a new meter for both light and dark will fill as damage is dealt or buffs applied. Once filled, players can activate Transcendence, which provides melee and grenade regeneration, resistance to incoming damage, as well as bonus weapon damage. In addition to boosts, each class gains a new grenade that deals both Light and Dark damage.

The final piece to this blog was the discussion of Fragments, with Bungie confirming that the Prismatic subclass will have 21 in total, a major increase from the typical 14-16 forLight and Darkness subclasses inDestiny 2.To help support this major increase, most Prismatic Aspect Fragments slots have been increased to 3, and better yet, once a fragment has been unlocked on one class, it is available to use on the other two, so players won’t have to reacquire any of them after switching to a different class.
