The sixth year ofDestiny 2is only just beginning, even after players have completed the campaign. Aside from three more upcoming Seasons worth of content, there is also lots of post-campaign content that is part of Lightfall. Then of course there isthe upcoming raid releasingthis weekend.
In the meantime, there are several quests that unlock upon beating the campaign. Most of these quests reward Exotics likeWinterbiteandDeterministic Chaos, but some do unlike activities. One example is the Partition activities that is unlocked while workingon unlockingWinterbite. One of these missions is called Partition: Backdoor, and here is how players can complete it.

How to Prepare For Partition: Backdoor
In order to complete this mission,Destiny 2players will need to be 1790 Power. In addition, players must prepare their load out to deal with both Overload and Barrier Champions. Unlike Partition: Hard Reset, players will not need to worry about defusing bombs. Instead, Partition: Backdoor is more like a regular mission. Just like with the previous Partition activity, players will need to have access to the weekly bounty from Nimbus to get the key that allows them to do Partitions. Once a Partition is completed, players cannot do it again until the next weekly reset.
How to Complete Partition: Backdoor
Deep in the network, the Vex have established aStrongholdand a Vex Mind is there. Players will need to go through thestrongholdand defeat the Vex Mind. The first step is to kill all the Vex that spawn. Keep killing all of the Vex until a Hydra spawns. When the Hydra dies, it will drop a red orb called a logic bomb. Pick up this orb.
Follow the waypoint to reach a wall that blocks the path forward. Throw the red orb at the wall to open a path forward. This orb does not do damage to players if they are too close, so don’t worry about that. Keep moving and killing Vex to get another logic bomb to drop. Along the way, keep aneye out for Overload Champions. There will also be some Cabal that attack thestrongholdas well.
Eventually, players will encounter the Vex Mind that is in charge of thestronghold. The boss is protected by a shield that can’t be destroyed with weapons. So players will need to find logic bombs and throw them at the boss’s shield to bring it down and damage it. When the boss reaches 50% health, it will retreat and players will have to pursue it. Follow it and use another logic bomb to bring down the shield. Once the shield is done, damage it until it dies to get Strand Meditationsand a Pinnacle Drop.
