For those who missed out on the announcement at the beginning of March, Behaviour Interactive revealed that it would becollaborating with U-KISS' Kevin Woo and music producer DJ Swivel to bring the DLC to life. It focuses primarily on a new villain called Ji-Woon (or “The Trickster”), who’s a murderous K-Pop star that uses the screams of his victims in his songs. After his producer, Yun-Jin, discovers the terrifying secret, Ji-Woon begins to hunt her down, leading to both joining theDead by Daylightroster.
Early feedback from the Public Test Build has been positive, withThe Tricksterbeing showered with love online. He’s primarily a ranged character, relying on throwing knives to incapacitate survivors. While using him, players will need to replenish their stock of blades as they hunt for their prey, searching through lockers to find more ammo. It’s definitely an interesting new villain for players to avoid and one of the more unexpected members ofDead by Daylight’sgrowing rogues gallery. The Trickster joins an array of iconic and original villains already stalking players through the game, including the likes of Leatherface, Freddy Krueger, Pyramid Head, and Michael Myers.
