Dave the Diveris a restaurant sim that is currently in Early Access. Players are Dave, a man who loves sushi who must dive for fish during the day and help run the sushi restaurant at night.
While he dives for ingredients and materials, Dave will also help some native sea life like a couple of dolphins, some mermaid-likeSea People, and even a whale. The whale has lost her baby, and she cries into the sea in an attempt to locate the lost calf. The Whale in Dave the Diver
The whale does not appear at night, so players will need to dive during the day. She seems to only show up inDave the Diver’s Chapter3, and she will be making some big noises when she’s around. Dave will record the sounds she makes, then sends the recording off to the local expert on the matter. After translating the sound, Ellie will tell Dave it means the whale is looking for her baby.
Once this has been established, players will need to dive pretty deep to find the child, and they will also need the upgraded gloves from Dr. Bacon.
Where to Find the Baby Whale in Dave the Diver
The baby is found at a depth of about 70 meters on the left side of the screen, even shallower than the Limestone Cave where players foundSea Grapes inDave the Diver. Players will need to follow the sound of the baby’s cries; they will appear in the water as white sound waves.
Follow the sound and Dave will come across a cave that has a blocked entrance. Using the upgraded gloves made by Dr. Bacon, players will be able to remove the stake to open the way again in thisindie game.
How to Save the Baby Whale in Dave the Diver
Head into the Baby Whale Cave; the calf is inside, but it won’t trust Dave yet. Using the spacebar, interact with the whale. Dave will need to pet it several times until the calf trusts him. Look for heart bubbles over its head. verify tosave the game at the point inDave the Diver.
Dave can then lead it out of the cave, and there will be some lion fish and a shark waiting. The calf will hide, and players will have to take down the enemies before the calf will follow again.
Bring the whale back to the surface and four sharks will spawn. Thankfully, mama whale will take them out, and her calf will be returned.
