Dark Horse Direct andCritical Rolehave officially revealed the final bust for theirVox Machina Originsbust set, pairing the duo of Keyleth and Percival Fredrickstein von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III (Percy) together at the price of $149.99. This means that every coremember of theDungeons and Dragons-style adventuring partynow features in a Dark Horse Direct bust, as Keyleth and Percy join Vax, Vex, Grog, Pike, and Scanlan from the pages of theVox Machina Origins.
In general, Dark Horse Direct prides itself on high-end statues and figures from all aspects of popular culture. Critical Role easily finds itself among titans, as Dark Horse Direct has worked with brands likeAvatar: The Last Airbender, Dragon Age, Hellboy, The Last of Us, The Witcher, and many more. Sculpted by Tommy Hodges, this bust ofVox Machina’s Keylethand Percy is just as intriguing as any put out by Dark Horse Direct.

Representing a “night out at the tavern,” the newCritical Role statueshows Percy holding a goblet of wine and his original pepperbox pistol “the List,” while Keyleth appears to be gleefully playing with her magic. Etched into the bar counter is the Sun Tree, commemorating the connection between Percy and Keyleth. Overall, the bust stands at just over five inches tall. Not only was this bust sculpted by Tommy Hodges, but it also features painting from J.W. Productions and a hand-numbered base. The latter comes in handy because this bust is only seeing a limited run of 1,000 units.

Each unit comes with a certificate of authenticity, will retail at $149.99, and will be at fans' doors between April and June 2024. Its price point puts it on par with Vex and Vax’s bust, both of which are just 20 bucks shy of Grog, Pike, and Scanlan’s $169.99 bust. Those whopre-order the Percy and Keyleth bust can get a $10 discount, while those who pre-order all three can get $25 off. It should be noted that orders of other busts are limited to two per order, likely meaning Percy and Keyleth’s will be as well, and that may helpcombat scalpingof the product.
Critical Role’s staying power in therealm ofDungeons and Dragons, tabletop, and related media cannot be understated. This bust announcement may be the latest in a long line of representations of its universe, which includes books, podcasts, live events, an animated series, and more, but it almost certainly won’t be the last.
