A new Crash Bandicoot game may have been discovered via a leak online going around over the weekend. The game’s name isCrash Wumpa League, and it has been speculated on for some time now after Naughty Dog teased its existence in some press materials.Crash Wumpa Leagueis believed to be a multiplayer party game. The latest leak reveals a development timeline forCrash Wumpa League, with one key detail standing out -Crash Wumpa Leaguewas originally supposed to launch this month.

The timeline in question reportedly came from a Toys for Bob employee’s portfolio website, but was first shared online by Twitter user Kingdom_Finder. There are two timelines in the leaked image, the first showing the development plans forCrash Bandicoot 4and the second forCrash Wumpa League. Crash Wumpa League’s timeline is, obviously, ignorable to a degree. The timeline goes back to August 2019, notably before theCOVID-19 pandemicarrived. It’s safe to assume that even ifCrash Wumpa League’s development was on track up to that point, it has deviated significantly since. It’s possible that the game’s been reworked, canceled, restarted, or undergone any number of changes since 2019. It’s also possible that development has continued, just somewhat delayed, and thatCrash Wumpa Leaguecould be announced within a year.

Prior to the testing and release schedule details, there are some other interesting bits ofCrash Wumpa Leagueinformation worth looking at on the timeline. For example, the timeline references the addition of Heroes and Maps to the game, building to 16 Heroes and 12 Maps by launch. There’s also a reference to a Loot System, which brings up a question about justwhat kind of gameCrash Wumpa Leaguereally is.

Some rumors have mentionedCrash Wumpa Leaguebeing a 3D platformer. From these rumors, it’s been mentioned thatCrash Wumpa Leagueis either likeMario Partyor likeFall Guys. Considering the game’s been in development since 2019 or earlier, however, it’s unlikely to be much likeFall GuyssinceFall Guyshadn’t been releasedyet.
