First introduced at the very beginning of theGenshin ImpactVersion 4.0 patch, Clorinde is one of the very first characters that players meet from Fontaine. However, it wouldn’t be until 4.7 that she finally became playable.
As a champion duellist and all-around powerful member of Fontaine’s law enforcement, Clorinde is a force to be reckoned with. Wielding her Electro Vision and a sword, she’s a great asset to many teams. Here’s everything needed to ascend her and upgrade her talents to the maximum.

Like everyGenshin Impactcharacter, Clorinde needs a whopping 8,362,650 EXP to reach the maximum level of 90. Here’s a breakdown of how that looks between each ascension level.

Gemstones - Where to Find Vajrada Amethyst
All Electro characters use the Electro elemental gem, Vajrada Amethyst, in their ascension. It can be found in a few ways, but the most reliable source is boss drops. Here’s a list of bosses capable of dropping Vajrada Amethyst:
*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Vajrada Amethyst when infused with Electro!
Local Specialty - Where to Find Lumitoile
Clorinde joins Neuvillette as a character who uses Lumitoile in their ascension. These colourful starfish can only be found in Fontaine, specifically in the Liffy region. For a full guide, check out this farming route post:
Boss Drop - How to Get Fontemer Unihorn
Strangely, Clorinde also joins Neuvillette in using the Fontemer Unihorn boss material. This item is dropped by the Millennial Pearl Seahorse when defeated (and the Resin cost is paid).
Enemy Drop - Where to Find Fontemer Aberrant Drops
In almost every corner of Fontaine, many different varities of Fontemer Aberrant can be found. When defeated, these enemies drop various level-up materials, depending on their level. Clorinde will use these in her ascension.

Clorinde Talent Materials

Talent Books - Justice
The Pale Forgotten Glory domain is home to Fontaine’s talent books. The series that Clorinde uses, specifically, is the Justice books. These can be obtained by clearing the domain on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Trounce Materials - Everamber
For Clorinde’s unique trounce material, players will need to take a quick jaunt back over to Sumeru. By clearing the Realm of Beginnings domain and paying the Resin cost, players have a chance to earn Everamber, which Clorinde’s talents require. This trounce domain is only available after completing Nahida’s second Story Quest chapter.
