A few months back,Call of Duty: WarzoneandCall of Duty: Modern Warfareadded in watches that highlighted specific data and gave the player character an extra bit of customization. They were purely cosmetic, but recently, someCall of Duty: Warzonewatches have been causing problems among the battle royale game mode.
There areseveral types of watches inCall of Duty: Warzone.Some of them tell time, others show level progression, and there is even one that acts as a small pet. Each watch provides a different small benefit to the user and is a fun way to customize the operator further.

It was when some of the watches developed astrangeCall of Duty: Warzonebugthat players started becoming concerned. Reddit user Khurlauss posted a clip on theCall of Duty: Warzonesubreddit that shows how two different watch types, “Strange Magic” and “Time of the Season,” can be seen through the walls. These two watches have a small light that is visible from across the map, basically giving away their wearer’s position.
Both of thesewatches were introduced duringCall of Duty: WarzoneSeason 6 and they feature a unique holographic appearance. The stylish watches are a fan-favorite among theWarzoneandModern Warfarecommunities but until this glitch is fixed they make players a clear target.
This is no doubt an unexpected bug for the developers to have to deal with, but it still has game-changing effects. FromCall of Duty: Warzone Gulag battlesto simple confrontations, knowing where the enemy is through a wall gives a clear advantage to other players.
As of now, the problem is not part oftheCall of Duty: WarzoneDeveloperTrello board, but it is likely that they will notice the problem quickly. Hopefully, the bug will be fixed prior toCall of Duty: Warzone’sintegration withCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warin December.
Until the bug is fixed players are advised towear a differentCall of Duty: Warzonewatch. The minimap, compass, and other useful tools could be vital in aWarzonesituation as an alternative to the holographic timepiece that players have become accustomed too.
