Summary

One player encounters a hilarious glitch that shows their character aiming and then shooting at Philip Graves during the newCall of Duty: Warzoneintro cutscene, acting out something that most fans are likely thinking.Warzonereceived plenty of changes and new contentduring the Season 1 update. One of the biggest additions was a brand-new map called Urzikstan, which also implements a 100-player limit in an effort to balance new game mechanics like faster gas circles and abilities on a smaller map.

However, one of the bigger changes fans noticed immediately was with the intro cinematic. While it used to show the squad getting ready to deploy from the back of an aircraft, the newWarzonecinematic takes a much longer approach, showing the players on the ground with Philip Graves before jumping back up into the plane and dropping in. Theupdated Season 1 cinematic has leftWarzonefans disappointed, with many saying the scene is too long, looks visually worse than the old one, and narratively doesn’t make sense when you have characters like Price interacting with Graves. However, one strange glitch has a player character essentially performing an action which most fans likely dream of seeing during the new intro.

Over on theCall of Duty: WarzonesubReddit, one player named famrob posted a short clip of the intro sequence with a title indicating that their player character is done with the new scene. While the cinematic starts the same way, with the player characters walking towards Graves, there are momentary flashes of the character’s stance changing to them aiming their weapon, seemingly at Graves before flashing back to a normal walking stance. While the camera and game continue to bug out, the scene ends with the character walking backwards aiming down the weapon sights, before firing off a shot in the direction of Graves.

Reaction to the clip was positive from those in the comments, many finding the whole situation both hilarious and relatable. Some even joked that they like the newSeason 1Warzonecutscene as it gives them additional time to check their email, texts, or grab a snack before the game kicks off. There were also more than a few users who reiterated how annoying they find the intro scene due to all the talking and the whole event seemingly feeling longer than it actually is.

While the newWarzoneintro may not be a hit with mostCall of Dutyfans, one newly added element from Season 1 was met with a much more positive reaction. For the winning squad,Warzonetypically showcases them and gives each a label based on how they played.WarzoneSeason 1 added new labelsand even added some which poke fun at those who may not have done as well as their teammates. Many players found the animations for Pacifist and Weakest Link to be pretty funny, while the one for Dead Weight seemingly being placed at random more than being applied to the actual player most deserving.
