Activision just recently pulled the curtain back on theCall of Duty: WarzonePacific map, givingCall of Dutyfans a chance to plan ahead when it comes to where they’re going to drop and what strategies they might employ. Since Shipment is such a popular map in the standardCall of Dutymultiplayer, one has to imagine that it will be a hotspot forCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers come December 8.

Call of Duty: Warzonewill change forever on December 8, asVerdansk is replaced by Caldera. TheCall of Duty: WarzonePacific map should shake things up considerably, as it’s making changes beyond giving players a new map to explore.

It’s been confirmed that theCall of Duty: WarzonePacific map is bringing with it fundamental changes to how the battle royale works. For example,Call of Duty: Warzoneloadout drops are changingwith the new map so that players can’t purchase loadouts until after the first free loadout has dropped. This should make looting at the beginning of matches more important, as players will be stuck with the guns they’ve looted for a lot longer than normal.

Another change is coming to the Gulag. With the launch of the Pacific map, theCall of Duty: WarzoneGulagis changing so that when players win a Gulag fight, they respawn with the weapons they were using in the Gulag. All of these changes should result in quite a different experience forCall of Dutyfans, and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out come December 8.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
