While specifics are unavailable at this time,Call of Dutyis promising “several changes” based on community feedback. Call of Dutyfans may be most interested in the new small-scaleWarzone 2map, but there’s content on the way for the baseModern Warfare 2game as well.Season 2 will see the introduction of ranked play, new multiplayer maps, new modes, new weapons, “and much more.” Again, the post was light on specifics, but these details should be fleshed out in the weeks ahead.

There are plenty of classicCall of Dutymaps that would be welcomed by theModern Warfare 2community with open arms, though others may be hungry for brand-new maps instead. So far, the maps added toModern Warfare 2post-launch have been fan favorites from previous games, withShoot Houseadded at the start of Season 1 and Shipment joining the lineup as part of Season 1 Reloaded. It would be nice to see a new high quality map join the fray, butCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2fans will have to hang tight for more information on that front.
