Warzone 2’s developers shared the official full patch notes of the Season 3 update, showing all the weapon additions, balance changes, and tweaks implemented in this new season, including thenew Gulag added toWarzone 2. According to the Season 3 update patch notes, the ISO Hemlock got a big nerf to its damage values, making it a less competitive option for players looking to excel in Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. Now The ISO Hemlock will deal less damage at all ranges, besides the lowered damage to the enemy’s lower torso.

The ISO Hemlock was the go-to rifle for most players inWarzone 2, and for a good reason. The assault rifle dealt great damage along with manageable recoil and a slow fire rate allowing players to stay on target. Soon after its release, the ISO Hemlock was even banned fromCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s ranked mode as it was deemed overpowered. Now competitive players may need to look for another alternative if they want to excel inWarzone 2’s ranked play.

Among the many additions and changes to the game, another well know assault rifle was also nerfed. The M13B also received a nerf to its damage values, making it less effective no matter where players aim. The M13B dealt a lot of damage with its high fire rate and manageable recoil, but after this update, it will not be as good as before. Many weapons received buffs regarding their movement penalties and damages, so any player should be able to find the perfect option for them if they look close enough.

Besides these weapon balance changes and additions, the developersupdatedWarzone 2’s anti-cheat system, so players should encounter fewer cheaters in their next matches. This update is great news, as cheaters are a significant threat to free-to-play titles, sometimes driving away a meaningful portion of the game’s player base.
