While the blurb itself was a bit light on details, it will be a Valentine’s Day themed experience, likely a limited time mode forCall of Duty Vanguard, that also has some Double XP opportunities tied in. In addition, Activision confirmed “thematic changes” though the blog post did not elaborate further, only hinting at something or someone called the King of Hearts.

The small detail was also accompanied by a screenshot of a pink teddy bear dressed for war, clearly a unique operator skin to celebrate the February holiday. The bear with a red heart nose appears to be angry, equipped with a flamethrower, extra bandoliers in an ‘X’ shape across its chest, with a black headband tied across its forehead. Again, the post didn’t specifically indicate which of themanyCall of Duty Vanguardoperatorswould be getting this unique skin.

Outside of the Valentine’s Day reveal, the Season 2 blog post features a ton of new information on the changes coming to bothWarzone,Vanguard, as well as Zombies, which is gettinga special Hub map in Season 2.Warzoneplayers are getting a new Chemical Factory location to explore, as well as the bomber plane vehicle and redeploy balloons similar to whatApex LegendsandFortnitedo in their games.
