Sledgehammer outlined the new content coming toVanguardandWarzonein season 3 with the new roadmap, offering first looks at the new weapons, maps, operators, and updates coming to the game. Included in this roadmap are the three new tracer packs forWarzone, each one themed after the monsters audiences saw do battle in 2021’sGodzilla vs. Kong. The tracer packs include appropriately-themed skins, effectively turning players into smaller iterations of Kong, Godzilla, or even Mecha-Godzilla.

The skins will go well with all the other changes coming to Caldera during the aforementioned Operation Monarch event when the monsters invadeWarzone. A new point of interest, The Dig, will be added to the map and will see players fighting among the bones of other massive monsters from the Hollow Earth, including a serpentine creature resembling the Skullcrawlers and even another Kong. A new Monarch-themed Gulag, The Hold, will also open up for 1v1 duels as players attempt to fight their way back into a match.

Operation Monarch’s tracer packs also continue the trend seen sinceVanguardlaunched of unique and surprising tie-in skins being made available for players. 2022 has already seen Sledgehammer release skins based on the popular manga and anime seriesAttack on Titan, along with a pack paying homage to hip-hop iconSnoop Dogg.
