Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is considered one of the most beloved titles in the franchise. And with the series getting much love recently,rumors have been flying that a remaster is in the works. However, some fans may have to wait longer than others to get there hands on the fan-favorite shooter.
Recentreports from TheGamingRevolution shows thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remasteredwill be exclusive to the PS4 for a month. At this point, this would just be a rumor, as the game itself hasn’t yet been announced.

If the remaster ofModern Warfare 3were exclusive to PS4, this would make sense, asCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remasteredwas exclusive to the PS4 for one monthas well.
TheGamingRevolution has a very high track record when it comes toCall of Dutyleaks, as he wassuspended from Twitter back in February for accurate leaks ofWarzone. This didn’t stop him from continually leaking out information aboutWarzone,MW2, and nowMW3, and his new account has now been suspended as well, perhaps pointing to validity in his information.
Fans were not happy about theMW2 Remasterbeing exclusive to the PS4for a month, so if the same is true forMW3, the outcry will most likely be the same. That being said, theCall of Dutygames are coming out nonstop right now, withWarzoneas a massive free to play battle royale and multiple remasters of classicCall of Dutygames.
If the exclusivity leaks are true, other information points toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remasteredcoming without multiplayer, just as the remaster forMW2did. This is yet another disappointing piece of news for fans of the franchise.
The originalModern Warfaretrilogy is often considered to have the best multiplayer in the series, at least if not always the most balanced, the most fun. And when theoriginalModern Warfarewas remasteredit reviewed well, partly because it came with the multiplayer. It’s a shame that players are not able to enjoy the multiplayer fromMW2andMW3in remastered glory.
