The fourth and finalDoctor Whospin-off is the darkest and most adult of them all, despite the fact that the first two seasons still contain a lot of funny moments.Torchwoodran for four seasons and it brought back theDoctor Whofan-favorite character, Captain Jack Harkness played by John Barrowman.
After becoming immortal, Jack joins Torchwood in Cardiff and protects the Earth from aliens alongside his colleagues. The show is adventurous, full of tension and danger, but also takes the time to build the relationship between the Torchwood team and the supporting characters. It’s also not afraid to kill its heroes, and unlike Jack, they do stay dead (for the most part) which is always a shock for their fans.
