In theBorderlandsuniverse, few things are more important than guns, and by extension the companies that make them. As such,Borderlandsfans have become particularly fond of certain manufacturers, with one honoring their favorite brands through custom-made decorations.

While someBorderlandsmanufacturers have less important roles in the story, such asVladof and Tediore, fans know a fair bit about a majority of the weapon companies. Hyperion served as the main antagonist ofBorderlands 2, after all, and Maliwan served as one ofBorderlands 3’s secondary villains. Dahl has had a prominent role as well, with Atlas’ journey from corrupt corporation to a reformed company under Rhys has been fun to watch. Other companies have even directly aligned themselves with the Vault Hunters, such as Jakobs and Torgue. These two friendly companies just so happened to be the focus of Reddit user HooBoah88’s recent projects.

The first of the Redditor’s twoBorderlands-themed art pieces was posted over a week ago, and it saw the fan describing the process behind their prop-making. As seen in the post title, HooBoah88 is a carpenter, and they recently converted a bookshelf into a tool rack. After the conversion process, the Redditor had a leftover cabinet door from the bookshelf. Instead of throwing it away and wasting the material, they realized that its dark brown color was perfect for aJakobswall hanger.

Sure enough, their intuition proved correct, as the final product was a great decoration that any fan of the series would be happy to have. The logo for Wainwright Jakobs’ company looked just like it does in the games, with the sandy color used for the text meshing well with the dark background. The “Legacy Firearms” text is a fine touch, as are the accents above and below the Jakobs logo. The response to the wall hanger was unanimously positive, so it is not too surprising HooBoah88 chose to return to Reddit with anotherBorderlands-themed decoration.

The other art piece was posted only two days ago, and it features theTorgueLogo on a lighter piece of wood. Likely some more scrap from one of the carpenter’s projects, the Torgue logo looks terrific, with the blue, white, and red color scheme differing greatly from the Jakobs branding. Unsurprisingly, the comments were full ofBorderlandsfans talking like Torgue, typing in all caps and discussing their love of explosions. While both are very different, the two signs should make some excellent decorations for the HooBoah88’s walls.

SinceTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis changing the manufacturer namesfor every company besides Torgue, the Redditor could soon have some new logos to make if they are interested in doing so. With plenty of other manufacturers in the mainBorderlandsgames to use as inspiration, too, there is no shortage of potential projects for the clever carpenter to work on.
