The changes to the ratings are based on the players' performances from last season, so there is very little to complain about. The players who are avid fans of the Premier League can finally see where their favorite players rank. 10Kante (89)
Ever since signing for Chelsea, Kante has been a key player for the club, and his performances over the years have helped his team to claim some prestigious silverware. His performance in the knockouts of the 20/21 Champions League helped his team to win the title for the second time in their history.
Unfortunately, Kante’s playing time has been heavily limited by injuries, which has seen his rating drop by 1 point, so inFIFA 23, Kante has a rating of 89.

9Ederson (89)
Ederson has been an ever-present figure between the sticks for Manchester City. With him in goal, Manchester City won the Premier League title yet again. Ederson also won the Golden Glove, which he shared with Liverpool’s Alisson.

Kane has started the new season on a high note, and he has already racked up 5 goals, which is very impressive. With Tottenham making several new signings in the transfer window, Kane will be hoping that he will finally be able to win some trophies.
7Alisson Becker (89)
Over the years, Alisson has become one of Liverpool’s most important players. Last season, when Liverpool was competing for four different trophies, Alisson was performing at an incredibly high level.

Casemiro has been a pivotal part of Real Madrid’s midfield for numerous years, and they have won an impressive five Champions League titles with him. InFIFA 23, Casemiro has a rating of 89, which is the same as last year.

5Son (89)
Son spearheaded Tottenham’s attackwhen Harry Kane wasn’t performing well. He scored a total of 23 goals and assisted 9 times. Son’s contributions helped Tottenham to finish in the top 4 and qualify for the next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Son also won the Golden Boot, a prize that he shared with Mohammad Salah. Yet for some reason, EA overlooked Son’s ridiculous numbers and did not increase his rating. Son maintains his old rating of 89 inFIFA 23.
4Cristiano Ronaldo (90)
Cristiano Ronaldo resignedfrom Manchester United after many years, and it didn’t take long for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to hit the ground running. In his debut season, Ronaldo managed to rack up an impressive 24 goals in all competitions.
Ronaldo’s card has been downgraded by 1 point, which means he drops to 90. The decision seems to have been made due to his age, as he is already 37.

3Virgil Van Dijk (90)
Last season was a very important one for Van Dijk as he came back from a very serious injury. There was a great deal of pressure on him to perform at his best and he delivered.Van Dijk’s performances for Liverpoolhave been absolutely immense, and it is easy to see why Liverpool broke the bank to sign him.

2Mohamed Salah (90)
Undoubtedly the best player in the Premier League, Mohamed Salah has been breaking records year after year. Last season, Salah won both the Golden Boot and the best Playmaker Award, a feat that has only ever been replicated by Harry Kane.
Salah’s form dropped towards the end of the season, but it was still good enough to land him an increase of 1 point. His rating of 90 makes him an incredible option to have in the game.

1Kevin De Bruyne (91)
Kevin De Bruyne is the highest-rated player in the Premier League with a rating of 91. He enjoyed another great season as he guided Manchester City to their second consecutive Premier League title.
De Bruyne is easily among the greatest midfielders of all time, and this season, with the addition of Haaland to the team, the Belgian will be hoping to break his own assist record of 20 assists.
