There are a total of eight characters in Foamstars, all of whom have unique playstyles. Out of the eight, two characters are not available from the start of the game.MeI TandThe Baristadorcan be unlocked by playing the game quite a bit, but once unlocked, they provide fun experiences. As every character is distinct, the synergies between them are also totally different, posing the question of which four characters should go into battle as a team.
Team Compositions in Fomstars
Tank Frontline Composition
In this composition, your main frontline will beJet Justice. He uses aclose-range weaponthat shoots out Foam like a Shotgun. His other skills involve creating a foam wall, jumping up into the air for a powerful slam, and finally, a shield that protects the team from enemy foam attacks.
The second character in this team will beAgito, who is also a close-range character as he uses a powerful shotgun. He has a great disengage or engage skill that allows him to get into the action alongside the tank and jump out if need be. His other skill allows him to throw a shuriken that explodes and foams up the enemies, and his Ultimate spawns a shark named Kirimaru, which chases nearby enemies.

In the backline, there will bePenny Gwyn, a medium-range character whose purpose is to provide cover fire from behind during fights. His main weapon of choice is the assault rifle, and all of his skills are damage-related, summoning waves of foam or firing a foam bomb. Having quite long-range damage skills, he can deal damage from afar and also stay to protectThe Baristador, who will be the last character in this team. As there are no healers inFoamstars, a long-range utility support will be the best option. His supportive skills allow him to erect a foam wall that acts as a cover, and the other skill creates a pathway of foam for his team. Having such utility can allow the frontline tank and Agito to get in close.
Long-Range Poke Composition
This composition is a long-range style where all the characters focus on staying as far away from the enemy team as possible. Making a foam hill and poking from afar is what all characters will be doing. All characters need to create foam paths all around the area so that they can disengage if the enemy team pushes in too close.
Tonixis the first character on this team, and she wields a medium-ranged rifle that can fire bursts or charged shots. She also provides utility as her skills allow her to spawn a turret and a homing foam bomb. Alongside her will bePenny Gwyn, who will also be using his medium-range assault rifle.

A little far behind will beThe Baristador, who provides support using his utility skills, and alongside him will beMeI T, who has a long-range homing missile gun. Her skill and ultimate can go very far, allowing the team to melt the enemies from afar. She is also a greatFoamstarscharacter for beginners, so a lot of the players can get used to her quickly after unlocking her. None of the characters in this team composition have skills that allow them to disengage instantly, meaning that you must stay on your toes and change locations whenever you see the enemies approaching you.
Close-Range Big Damage Composition
In this team composition, all the characters rely on their close-range weapons to dish out massive damage and approach the enemies together. As this team is all about damage, there are no supportive characters in this composition.Jet Justicehas a shotgun, so he will be the team’s frontline. Alongside him will be another shotgun-wielding character,Agito, andRave Breaker, whose weapon acts as a flamethrower. His skills include foam trap mines as well as a disengage skill similar to Agito.
Soais the final character in the team who makes use of her fast-firing twin foam guns. She has a high mobility skill that fires a barrage and allows her to back away. She has agreat ultimatethat allows her to roll around in a massive ball, knocking away the enemies she comes in contact with. All the characters in this composition, despite being close-range, have skills that allow them to disengage at a moment’s notice. This makes sure that the team can retreat if the situation gets too heated for them to be able to handle.
