Deadcraftis azombie game that puts a unique spin on the genre. Players take control of the character Reid, who is half zombie and half human. After the world has been destroyed by a virus that creates these shambling undead creatures, Reid can make the choice between killing zombies or making his own undead army.

7Play Through The Campaign

One of the best ways to ensure that a player gets a large chunk of the experience that they need is to just play through the campaign. The zombie game’s campaign will guide the playerthrough some of the more difficult things to get used to and help them learn the mechanics.

Deadcraft - Character Bighearted Max

Generally, the player will do well if they just pay attention to what is going on in the campaign. Take in some lessons in the tutorial, and then apply them to the actual gameplay. This will teach the player a lot.

6Learn to Plant Crops

There is a surprising amount of farming and self-care involved inDeadcraft. The player has to ensure thatthe half zombie protagonist, Reid, is properly cared for, otherwise they will run into many complications along the way.

One of the best ways that a player can ensure that they take care of Reid is to plant crops and grow food. By growing crops, players will have a large supply of food for Reid to feast on.

5Avoid Combat If Necessary

Sometimes, a player just cannot avoid combat in any way, shape or form. It is all right to start dealing damage when the player is backed into a corner; however, whenever possible, players should try to avoid combat inDeadcraft.

Although a player will gain experience and get stronger from combat, it is usually a good idea to turn and run when swarmed. Players do not want to get cornered by multiple enemiesbefore being picked off by the hordes of zombies, when turning around and running away would have kept them alive for another day. Don’t be afraid to make a strategic retreat.

4Roll To Put Out Fires

Unfortunately, a player can end up lighting themselves on fire. This is just a part ofDeadcraft, and it can quickly kill a player if it is not taken care of immediately.

Thankfully, there is a pretty quick way for a player to extinguish themselves if they accidentallyset themselves alight while fighting zombies.Though the roll function is usually used to get out of attacks, rolling around on the ground a few times can extinguish the player if they accidentally light themselves on fire.

3Sell Excess Crops

When a player grows crops, they will usually end up with a large excess of them. Although players can reasonably ration out their crops to ensure they always have some on hand (which is still a good idea), they can also sell off some of their extras whileroaming through the zombie wasteland.

By selling any excess crops, players can earn themselves bit of extra cash, which is always useful to have on hand. InDeadcraft, a player should try to balance having a good amount of crops, and seeing how many they can sell to have some money.

2Keep Meters Topped Up

There are many meters that a player need to look out for inDeadcraft. All of these meters are equally important to take care of,especially the zombie meter. However, that does not mean a player should neglect the rest of Reid’s needs.

The hunger and energy meter are important to look out for, along with the thirst and health meter.Deadcraftis all about trying to delicately balance all of these meters, without letting any of the five drop too low.

1Don’t Let the Zombie Scale Go Too High

The zombie meter shows how much of Reid’s zombie side is taking over. If it is too low, the player’s defense will increase. However, if it gets too high, Reid will not be able to talk to humans. He will also be mistaken as a zombie by other human NPCs, who will then try to kill him.

A player can reset their zombie meter after sleeping. To raise the zombie scale, they will have toconsume food that is made more for zombies. To lower it, consume regular “human” food instead. A player needs to balance out the zombie scale, so it’s not too high and not too low.
