In a world with the most advanced graphics, realistic interactions, and authentic experiences that transport players into the world of their game,BattleBit Remasteredis going back to basics, at least on the surface. This low-poly, huge multiplayer first-person shooter has skyrocketed to the top of the Steam charts on the back of its large player servers that cater to up to 254 players, almost fully-destructible environments, and surprisingly deep customization options for both players and their load-outs.

BattleBit Remasteredfeatures a wide array of weapon types and scopes that players can choose from to maximize their own style of play. In the world of sniper rifles, there is a selection of both medium and long-range scopes that can suit the varying map sizes and player strategies. Given the selection available, which scopes stand out as the cream of the crop for long-range warfare?

10Flir

Among the more technologically enhanced scopes available for sniper rifles, the Flir is perhaps a little too busy to be effective for the masses playingBattleBit Remastered. The scope features a bold pair of guidance lines and a distinct circular dot, as well as the option to toggle Thermal mode on or off.

For a game with the artistic style thatBattleBit Remasteredboasts, this scope is perhaps one worth putting on the shelf. It is a medium-range scope that struggles to find targets beyond 150m, and with the small viewpoint being taken up by the bulky guidance lines, less experienced players may struggle to find their mark with the Flir.

9ACOG

The ACOG sight is a staple in just about every reputable shooting game. While it is most commonly used as a longer-rangeoption for assault rifles or light machine guns, it is still a reasonable choice for a shorter-range sniper rifle scope. This scope is categorized as medium-range for the sniper rifles inBattleBit Remastered, with fairly clear and easy-to-follow guidance markers.

The ACOG won’t hit enemies from 500m away unless the player is an expert, but this is a great scope to use for a stable, easy to maneuver style of gameplay. It would be better used in small to medium maps, but given the choice it is better suited for semi-auto or automatic weapons.

8Burris A R332

The Burris A R332 is another reliable medium-range scope that is perfect for sniper rifleslooking to cover less distanceand improve the speed at which the player can aim their weapon. It has a basic horizontal line to guide the player, and its outer red circle and dot combo make it marginally easier to find the target.

Like other medium-range scopes, the Burris A R332 won’t cover as much distance as its long-range counterparts. However, what it lacks in distance coverage, it makes up for with stability and maneuverability.

7T RI4 X32

The T RI4 X32 scope is a minimalistic, no-nonsense scope that takes away any of the added lines and guides to provide the clearest vision for players who prefer the guidance of their own eye. The basic black cross design is also a handy detail as it does not distract from the target.

While this is agreat scope for just about any ranged weapon, for a sniper rifle it does have its limitations. As a medium-range scope, Recon players will be limited in the distance from which they can be effective. In saying that, this is a great scope for snipers on smaller maps or with narrower vantage points, as it will find the target comfortably for 200m or more.

66x Scope

The 6x Scope is the shortest of the long-range scopes, which means it does bare many similarities to the medium-range alternative attachments. The scope has minimal sway and moves a lot like a medium-range scope, but will cover more distance and find targets a little further away.

The 6x has a basic-but-effective guidance display and will not cause any problems spotting enemies, particularly as its light design makes it easy to follow targets who are on the run. It is a good starting scope for new Recon players, however, on a long-term basis it would be more beneficial to work towards the 8x or higher.

520x Scope

After the P T R-40 Hunter, the 20x Scopecovers the most distance in a sniperscope, making out silhouettes of figures for 500m and more, to the sharpest eyes. Much like the Hunter, this sight does lack the stability of the shorter-range alternatives and is susceptible to swaying when aiming down the sight.

While the swaying can be a challenge for less-experienced players trying their hand as a Recon player, much of this can be managed using the steady aim. With that being said, the 20x Scope is likely to be a more useful tool to the more seasoned assassins.

4M 125

The M 125 is a medium-range sniper scope that ishandy for Recon playersthat enjoy getting a little closer to their targets. That’s not to say that it won’t cover a solid amount of distance. However, things get a little trickier once targets get beyond 200m from the player.

The M 125’s compass lines support finding the target with a marginal amount more ease and players will be faster from hip-to-scope, as is expected from a mid-range scope. The view is slightly distorted to account for the scope’s rounded end, but this only magnifies the target and proves a useful detail.

3P T R-40 Hunter

While the P T R-40 Hunter is unmatched for covering distance, this scope is a prime example of how long-distance scopes require some sacrifice in stability. This scope will have the player accumulating kills from incredible distances but is likely not going to be effective for those with less experience with a sniper rifle.

The P T R-40 Hunter requires a steady hand to be effective, as it sways more than the other sniper-specific scopes. While this can be managed by using the steady aim function, players will need to be quick in pulling the trigger as the steady aim will only work for a limited period.

215x Scope

As expected, the 15x Scope won’t zoom in quite as much as its 20x counterpart, but it will have a moderate improvement in stability, making it marginally easier to hit a target. The display is quite busy, as one would expect from a long-range scope, but it does not distract or deter from its purpose.

The line display provides a great guidance tool for hitting targets from far away and those that are on the move. For those gaining confidence with a sniper rifle, the 15x Scope is a great way to challenge long-range skills and takesniping proficiency to the next level.

18x Scope

Combining the benefits of a long-range scope with a steady hand that goes very close to mimicking its shorter-range alternatives, the 8x Scope is perhapsthe most balanced scope to use on sniper rifles. Its ease of movement and swift speed makes it easy to spot enemies without sacrificing too much accessibility.

The 8x Scope’s moderate sway is a great introduction to the function for players newer to this style of play, but it still manages to cater to more experienced players. No matter the size of the map or the skills of the player, the 8x Scope is suitable for any level or style of long-ranged play.
