Halo Infinite’smultiplayer had what many would describe as a fairly rocky launch. In terms of gameplay, the game fared well, yet it was in the realms of cosmetics and the online marketplace that angeredHalo Infiniteplayers most. From overpriced armor sets to released cosmetics that had design flaws,Halo Infiniteplayers have brought up many issues with developer 343 since the multiplayer beta first became available.343 has since changed the wayHalo Infinite’sonline marketplace works, though fans are still looking for more multiplayer changes.
Something else that fans found to be lacking inHalo Infinite’smultiplayer was a distinct lack of game modes. With some classic modes such as Grifball and Infection missing from the game for quite some time, it has many believing the game to be stale. With the extension ofseason one ofHalo Infinite’smultiplayeras well, it seemed that it may be some time before new content that wasn’t another cosmetic pack was brought into the game. Recent leaks though, could prove otherwise.

The firstrumblings of aHalo InfiniteForge modewere brought about in October of 2021, after a leak suggested that the mode would be incredibly deep and detailed. Forge is one of the most popular gameplay modes inHalohistory, as it allows fans to create their own maps and game types, allowing for near endless creativity and replayability. With the creation of obstacle courses, unique game modes and more through Forge, it would certainly bring about some freshness toHalo Infinite’smultiplayer.
A video uploaded on YouTube shows what appears to be footage from theHalo InfiniteForge mode. With a huge map, similar to that seen in the campaign of the game, and plenty of tools for players to create their maps, it seems thatHalo Infinite’s Forgewill have a deep level of customization. The footage seen in the video doesn’t show off an incredible Forge creation, instead focusing more on the potential ofHalo Infinite’sForge mode.
For anyHalofan, it’s a relieving sight to potentially see the Forge mode in action for the franchise’s latest mainline entry. While some may be skeptical of the leaker’s footage, the YouTube channel that it has appeared on is known for unveiling scrapped and hidden content from theHalogames. Alongsideleaked photos of theHalo InfiniteForge modefrom a couple of days ago, it seems that the mode is perhaps closer than many first thought.
Halo Infiniteis available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
