The Xbox Black Friday sale is starting today and discounts over 700 games, add-ons, and bundles, and is available until December 3rd. The sheer amount of deals may get overwhelming, especially with the Xbox Series X/S releasing. Many titles offer free upgrades and utilizeMicrosoft’s Smart Delivery program, and many of those titles are discounted in the Black Friday sale.
There are over 15 Xbox titles that are discounted for Black Friday and also include a free upgrade path. While some of these titles do not haveXbox Series X/Sversions available now, the upgrades are planned for release. For example, both EA titlesMadden 21andFIFA 21are discounted to $35.99, but have Xbox Series X versions releasing on December 4th. Other sports simulations discounted includeForza Horizon 4andJust Dance 2021, both discounted to $29.99 and have Xbox Series X versions available now. The Xbox Black Friday sale will feature four games listed under $10. BothArk: Survival EvolvedandGears 5are discounted to $9.99 and have free upgrades already available, however, both titles are included in Xbox Game Pass.The Elder Scrolls Onlineis another Game Pass title discounted and is listed at $7.99. Ubisoft’sFor Honoris listed at $7.49. BothElder Scrolls OnlineandFor Honorhave Xbox Series X versions planned but no official release date.
Some of the best FPS shooters are included in the deals as well.Halo: Master Chief Collectionis available for $25.99 andBorderlands 3is listed at $19.79 and both titles have Xbox Series X versions available now.Doom Eternalis also listed at $19.79 but does not have an official release date for a Series X upgrade.Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siegehas multiple deals for each edition and also has a bundle withGhost Recon Breakpointlisted at $89.99.
BothOri and the Will of the WispsandMortal Kombat 11are current available for $14.99 and have free upgrades available now.No Man’s SkyandSea of Thievesare available for $29.99, however players will get theSea of Thieves: Black Friday Special Editionthat includes a ton of add-ons.Watch Dogs: Legionis the newest game on the list, which released less than a month ago and is discounted to $40.19.
Other notable titles that released this year includesManeater,Marvel’s Avengers, andControl Ultimate Edition.Marvel’s Avengersis on sale for $29.99 andControl Ultimate Editionis listed at $19.99 but both titles will not have Xbox Series X versions until 2021. There are many more Xbox Black Friday deals, but these titles all have confirmed upgrade paths, so fans can grab the current gen now, and upgrade it when they are ready or capable.
